But the US does not have compulsory schooling, so ethnic-minority studies can be undertaken outside of White schools and the White education system.
In this very anti-Nationalistic report published by Ofsted (the governmental department responsible for regulating the UK education system), it is instructed that native culture should not take priority over imported cultures. What education a child receives on the history of his land is largely concerned with the tyranny it has inflicted on the world. Any perceived ethnocentricism is on closer inspection infact good ol’ progressive ethnomasochism.
It is also supplemented by a good dose of Black History and Holocaust Memorial to remind any prospective right-wing child what he is if he disagrees with the multiculturalism imposed on him.

At Key Stage 3 the history curriculum explicitly requires pupils to study ‘the impact through time of the movement and settlement of diverse peoples to, from and within the British Isles’. Pupils are expected to explore ‘the wide cultural, social and ethnic diversity of Britain from the Middle Ages to the twentieth century and how this has helped shape Britain’s identity’. As a result, pupils should be able to ‘reach an informed understanding of, andrespect for, their own and each other’s identities’.
In the very best practice seen pupils had the opportunity to:
explore the history of their local community and recent changes in it as aresult of migration and settlement, study communities and cultures other than their own, particularly for communities where pupils rarely travelled ,strengthen their understanding of world cultures through visits to historical sites in Europe and contacts with different cultures through links with schools in Africa and Asia , investigate the historical roots of some contemporary issues as presented by national and international events and initiatives, for example, Black History Month and Holocaust Memorial Day become engaged with issues such as British identity, political literacy, religious intolerance and freedom, including sensitive and controversial issues.

Only a White fool would believe that studying other cultures was somehow a threat to Whites - as sexists believe studying women’s issues is a threat to men.
When you barely teach anything about European cultures and spend an awful lot of your time going on about ‘how horrible white people are’ when teaching about, for example, the Trans-Atlantic slave trade (while curiously missing out the Arab slave trade and the Ottoman empire), there is something wrong. I have a feeling the Japanese learn about the history of Japan.
Also, what exactly are ‘women’s issues’ anyway, and why do we keep having to hear about them? I get it, women used to face sexist discrimination in the West (and still do in many other parts of the world, again, curiously omitted from the curriculum) and they face the threat of being raped and so on. I really don’t see how much teaching of these things could possibly be done. Also, I don’t think trying to force a victim complex onto our young women is the best thing to do.

I want balanced history. I hate that people get to be told that white people are responsible for slavery and imperialism and so on when the people teaching them know full well that other races have done it too.
