Whites consider that only their ethnicity is of value and, therefore, the only one to be studied: That the education system is their exclusive province.

But the US does not have compulsory schooling, so ethnic-minority studies can be undertaken outside of White schools and the White education system.

In this very anti-Nationalistic report published by Ofsted (the governmental department responsible for regulating the UK education system), it is instructed that native culture should not take priority over imported cultures. What education a child receives on the history of his land is largely concerned with the tyranny it has inflicted on the world. Any perceived ethnocentricism is on closer inspection infact good ol’ progressive ethnomasochism.   

It is also supplemented by a good dose of Black History and Holocaust Memorial to remind any prospective right-wing child what he is if he disagrees with the multiculturalism imposed on him.

At Key Stage 3 the history curriculum explicitly requires pupils to study ‘the impact through time of the movement and settlement of diverse peoples to, from and within the British Isles’. Pupils are expected to explore ‘the wide cultural, social and ethnic diversity of Britain from the Middle Ages to the twentieth century and how this has helped shape Britain’s identity’. As a result, pupils should be able to ‘reach an informed understanding of, andrespect for, their own and each other’s identities’.

In the very best practice seen pupils had the opportunity to: 
explore the history of their local community and recent changes in it as aresult of migration and settlement, study communities and cultures other than their own, particularly for communities where pupils rarely travelled ,strengthen their understanding of world cultures through visits to historical sites in Europe and contacts with different cultures through links with schools in Africa and Asia , investigate the historical roots of some contemporary issues as presented by national and international events and initiatives, for example, Black History Month and Holocaust Memorial Day become engaged with issues such as British identity, political literacy, religious intolerance and freedom, including sensitive and controversial issues.

I’m working under the assumption that you’re being serious here.

Only a White fool would believe that studying other cultures was somehow a threat to Whites - as sexists believe studying women’s issues is a threat to men.

When you barely teach anything about European cultures and spend an awful lot of your time going on about ‘how horrible white people are’ when teaching about, for example, the Trans-Atlantic slave trade (while curiously missing out the Arab slave trade and the Ottoman empire), there is something wrong. I have a feeling the Japanese learn about the history of Japan.

Also, what exactly are ‘women’s issues’ anyway, and why do we keep having to hear about them? I get it, women used to face sexist discrimination in the West (and still do in many other parts of the world, again, curiously omitted from the curriculum) and they face the threat of being raped and so on. I really don’t see how much teaching of these things could possibly be done. Also, I don’t think trying to force a victim complex onto our young women is the best thing to do.

Having no culture themselves, Whites always misunderstand the term “Culture” and its practical applications.

Multiculturalism cannot be imposed by anyone - it is simply an observable fact of life. One might just as well say that the blue of the sky is being imposed on those who prefer maroon.

Don’t be an idiot. Multiculturalism was definitely imposed on me, if not through the media, then by my school. There was an interesting air of Afrocentrism, which is odd in a European country.

The English have largely inflicted tyranny on the world - such history teaching would, therefore be accurate and truthful. Propaganda, after all, is not history - it is only Whites’ preferred history because the guilt and shame of acknowledging how White supremacist White culture is and, therefore, its essential emptiness is to great a burden for the shallow ego of Whites to bear.

There is no such thing as ‘Black History’ as there is no such thing as ‘White’ - there is only history. It is only “White history” that Whites want taught because they prefer propaganda about how wonderful Whites are to the facts about wonderful they are not.

I want balanced history. I hate that people get to be told that white people are responsible for slavery and imperialism and so on when the people teaching them know full well that other races have done it too.

The only ‘ethnocentricism’ (sic) here is, on closer inspection, good old White supremacy - in other words, the highest form of ‘ethnomasochism’. Whites made their historical bed, now they must lie in it. White teachers are not actually going to teach White kids how awful Whites are - no matter what the National Curriculum says, since the UK teaching profession is Institutionally-Racist; ie, filled with self-admiring Whites.

You do not have to be fully white to like British culture, or to feel like part of the nation, or to want to learn about European history. For you to imply it is actually somewhat racist.

You know what? It’s people like you who tell non-whites that they can’t be British. It’s not the EDL or the BNP or whoever you like to pin the ‘racist’ ribbon on. It’s you, the holier-than-thou Guardianistas who think they’re being progressive and open-minded. You are all racists. 

Your statements are factually-incorrect; leaving me with nothing to argue against - unless you present evidence. You also attack claims I never made.

If you do not know what women’s issues are, then ask a woman.

Your victim mentality claims - erroneously - that other cultures are being imposed on yours yet, again, you provide no evidence for this. Paranoia is not evidence.

Only the White ‘race’ (their is only one race on the Earth) has tried to tyrannize the world - it also failed to create the biggest empire, that dubious acclaim lies with the Mongols.

You are now getting balanced history - no ethnic group has ever practiced racial slavery other than Whites.
